Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School was recognized as a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School for the efforts in closing the achievement gap.  The school is located in the historic Mt. Hope section of Providence, RI and serves students in PreK through grade 5. A 3-star school, King offers ESL in an integrated setting, special education programming in the classroom. Before and afterschool programming is provided by the Mt. Hope Learning Center.
